Meet Carmen! This beautiful 2-year-old Boxer mix has already done an incredible job raising 10 puppies, all of whom have found loving homes. Now it’s Carmen’s turn to find the forever family she’s been waiting for! Carmen can be a little shy when meeting new people, but a few tasty treats and a little patience are the key to her heart. Once she knows you’re a friend, her true personality comes bursting out! She’s our resident wiggle butt, greeting her favorite people with a full-body tail wag that’s impossible not to smile at. This sweet girl is as smart as she is playful. She loves wrestling and playing with other dogs and has done well with canine friends here at the shelter. After a fun day of play, she’s more than happy to curl up for snuggles and soak up all the belly rubs she can get. Because she’s a bit timid at first, Carmen would likely thrive in a home with older children who can help her continue to build her confidence at her own pace. After spending so much of her life caring for others, it’s finally Carmen’s turn to be the one who’s loved, spoiled, and cherished. Could you be the family she’s been waiting for?

He’s incredibly eager to learn and has already mastered several hand signals, including sit, place, hold, and come! He’s proof that being deaf is just one small part of who he is. Winter can be a little shy when meeting new people, but a handful of treats and a little patience are the fastest way to become his new best friend. Once he trusts you, his fun-loving personality shines! He’s a playful, energetic guy who loves chasing toys and having fun, but he’s just as happy curling up beside you for snuggles when playtime is over. Because he can’t hear the social cues of other animals, Winter feels most comfortable being the only pet in the home, where he can relax, feel safe, and soak up all the love and attention for himself. Meet Puppy! This sweet 4-year-old girl is ready to find her forever family! Full of energy, cuddles, and charm, Puppy is truly the whole package. She loves soaking up attention and would prefer to be the only furry friend in the home so she can be your one and only princess. Puppy can be a little shy when meeting new people, so she’d do best in a home without young children while she builds her confidence. Once she warms up, though, she’s all snuggles, love, and happy tail wags!

Sandy and Martha

Meet Sandy & Martha! These adorable doodle sisters are looking for a special forever home where they can continue their journey together. At around 4 years old, Sandy and Martha have found themselves back at the shelter through no fault of their own, and they’re hoping their next home will be their last. After coming from a hoarding situation, these sweet girls are still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. They may be a little shy when you first meet them, but give them some time and patience, and you’ll discover two of the sweetest, silliest, most lovable goofballs around! Watching their personalities blossom is truly something special. Sandy and Martha are deeply bonded and must be adopted together—they’re each other’s biggest source of comfort and confidence. They would love a quiet, low-traffic home without children where they can continue building trust at their own pace. They may do well with another respectful dog, too! These girls are still figuring out how to “dog,” and every day they make a little more progress. If you have a patient heart, a calm home, and room for two deserving pups, Sandy and Martha are ready to fill your life with double the love, double the laughs, and double the cuddles.

Kenworth has plenty of energy for adventures, playtime, and fun, followed by lots of love and cuddles. He prefers to be the only animal in the home so he can soak up all the attention himself, and due to his high prey drive, a pet-free home is the best fit. At around 70 pounds, this big boy would do best with older children who can keep up with his enthusiastic zest for life. This precious gem is a 1-year-old Rottweiler/Pit Bull mix with a heart just as big as her adorable personality! Sapphire is goofy, playful, and always ready to keep you smiling with her silly antics. Whether she’s zooming around the yard or soaking up attention from her favorite people, she’s happiest when she’s part of the fun. Sapphire has previously lived with other dogs and may do well with the right canine companion after a proper introduction. She’s also one smart cookie—so smart, in fact, that she’s been known to open doors and kennel latches like a little escape artist! Don’t worry, she uses her powers for adventure, not mischief (well… mostly).
