Puppy can be a little shy when meeting new people, so she’d do best in a home without young children while she builds her confidence. Apollo is a handsome 4-year-old shepherd mix searching for a patient and understanding family to call his own. New people can be a little scary for this sensitive guy, so he may be shy at first. Apollo has been working hard in a training program here at the shelter and is earning straight A’s. He already knows place, sit, hold, free, and paw—what a good student! Apollo’s dream home would be a quieter, low-traffic home with no children, where he can feel safe and comfortable. He’d also prefer to be the only pet so he can soak up all the love and attention for himself. Meet Velma, a 2-year-old pittie mix with a heart as big as her smile! 💕 This sweet girl came to us as a stray in rough shape—very underweight and not feeling her best—but she hasn’t let that dim her spirit one bit. Velma is a certified wiggle butt who greets everyone she meets with a happy tail and lots of love. She’s full of personality, affection, and playful energy, always ready to brighten someone’s day. Because she’s such an enthusiastic and energetic girl, Velma would do best in a home without young children who could be accidentally knocked over by her excitement. Now that she’s feeling better and gaining strength, Velma is ready to trade shelter life for a forever family who will love her just as much as she’ll love them. Meet Sandy & Martha! These adorable doodle sisters are looking for a special forever home where they can continue their journey together. At around 4 years old, Sandy and Martha have found themselves back at the shelter through no fault of their own, and they’re hoping their next home will be their last. After coming from a hoarding situation, these sweet girls are still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. They may be a little shy when you first meet them, but give them some time and patience, and you’ll discover two of the sweetest, silliest, most lovable goofballs around! Watching their personalities blossom is truly something special. Sandy and Martha are deeply bonded and must be adopted together—they’re each other’s biggest source of comfort and confidence. They would love a quiet, low-traffic home without children where they can continue building trust at their own pace. They may do well with another respectful dog, too! These girls are still figuring out how to “dog,” and every day they make a little more progress. If you have a patient heart, a calm home, and room for two deserving pups, Sandy and Martha are ready to fill your life with double the love, double the laughs, and double the cuddles.

Meet Chi Chi, a 6–7-year-old terrier mix with a big personality packed into her tiny 13-pound frame! This little lady found her way to us after deciding she’d rather not share her kingdom with other animals. As the princess she knows she is, Chi Chi is looking for a home where she can be the one and only furry star. Chi Chi has a history of a collapsing trachea, but don’t let that fool you—this spunky girl doesn’t let it slow her down! She simply rocks a stylish harness instead of a collar and may need to take it easy during extra strenuous activities. She is also recovering from a recent dental procedure and healing beautifully, showing off her adorable smile more every day. Sweet, friendly, and full of love, Chi Chi has charmed everyone she’s met at the shelter. While we’ve loved having her here, this little queen is ready to trade shelter life for a cozy throne in a forever home where she can shower her family with kisses, cuddles, and endless affection.
