Run or Walk today to register for Barktoberfest 5K and 1 mile and support the Portage Animal Protection League! Barktoberfest is Saturday, October 4, 2025 at Rootstown Community Park/Gracie Fields.
Portage APL is funded solely through donations. All proceeds will be used towards animal care, food and nutrition, toys and bedding, medical needs, spay and neuter surgeries, immunizations and rehabilitative medical care. Change the life of an animal in need and register for Barktoberfest.
Register by September 21st and you will receive a race t-shirt, finisher medal, drawstring bag with goodies and post refreshment snacks. Awards and prizes will be given for top female, male and canine. Prepare your pumpkin and corn stalks for the costume contest prior to the race.
Packet pickups take place on October 3 from 4pm to 7pm at the NEW center, 4211 OH-44, Rootstown, OH. Virtual participants can have their swag mailed for an additional $10.00.
